My Life
To me, life is all about the moments we share with others, whether it’s a casual car yap or traveling to another country or state. I cherish each person and experience, whether it is good or bad, but these are examples of some of the good.
04/24/24

On our four year anniversary, my fiancé proposed to me at Sunset Beach in Cape May, NJ.

Cooking / Kitchen

With the purchase of my house, I officially have my own kitchen! I've been looking forward to having my own kitchen since I started cooking on a budget. It is so much easier when having my own fridge, pantry, cabinets, and cookware. I buy food in bulk and have more room for fresh produce.
Parents

My parents are the reason my love language is acts of service. They drove me to work even when I frequently finsihed shifts at 2am, cooked meals for me when I couldn't bring myself to, took my car to get serviced, always cleared the snow off my car, and obviously more.
Cape May

When I think of my childhood, I think about Seashore Campsites. This place was the greatest gift my parents could have given me. Even when we could barely afford food, they kept this place in the budget just for me. I made so many memories with so many different people here, most importantly with my best friend, Hailey. In 2019, we eventually sold the site but Hailey's family continue to let me stay at theirs. In 2022 and 2023, I got to spend two more summers there and work on the island. The first summer I stayed in the trailer and the next summer I stayed in a tent, working many overtime hours that lead to the down payment on my house.
GAPP Program

In high school, I participated in the German American Partnership Program. I worked incredibly hard to afford joining this opportunity. We spent 10 days in Germany with a day trip to France. I experienced three days in a German high school and stayed with an amazing German family. A few months later, our exchange partners came to America and stayed with us .
CODA

Being a CODA (Child of Deaf Adults) is an important aspect of my life. I was raised within a deaf household with deaf culture. I believe being a CODA has helped me in life by being able to read nonverbal cues and having enhanced communication skills.
Chile

For my 23rd birthday, I went on a trip to Chile to stay with my fiancé's Nona. During this time we went to the coast, the Andes mountains, and I got to meet his Aunt and Uncle. I also discovered my love for Pebre and Chilenitos.
Special Thanks

Special thank you to my fiancé for being able to support me emotionally and financially during my time in college.
Extra Special Thanks

Extra special thank you to Chad Prep for getting me through Organic Chemistry.
Best Friend

This is my best friend Hailey, who I've known for almost two decades. We have been through so much together and I am forever blessed to be her daughter's God mother.
Home

On August 2nd, 2024, my fiancé and I bought our first home. Being able to buy a house at 23 years old after growing up in an incredibly low income household, I feel a sense of accomplishment in not only saving and budgeting my butt off, but being able build such a healthy relationship with my fiancé to get to this point.
